What We Have Studied in the Past

the book of Romans with Keith Chapman. They meet in room 119 at the far end of the children's Sunday School section.

the book of Ephesians lead by Matthew Austin. On most weeks there is some sort of snack, come meet with us at 10:00 in the basement youth room.

High School Sunday School (9th - 12th) is going through the book Desiring God by John Piper. They meet in Room 128 and share donuts (sugar wakes people up!) and orange juice before beginning. College students are welcome and encouraged to join us as well.

Junior High Sunday School (7th - 8th) is going through a Westminster Shorter Catechism (WSC) study each week taught by Keith Chapman. They meet in Room 113. You may download the WSC below in Word or PDF format. Rumor has it there are even donuts some Sundays.

The Junior High students are working through the book of Acts at this time. We will take a close look at the spread of the church and Paul's missionary journeys. The class is taught by Brian Hough and meets at 10:00 every Sunday morning in room 113 (end of the long hallway before you get to the playground).

The High School students will spend thirteen weeks this quarter with Kevin and Christina Lutz working through Money Matters for Teens (by Crown Ministries). This is a teen version of the study being done on Monday Evenings with the Adults teaching not only wise use of money, but a proper view of money beginning with the fact that everything belongs to God. The class meets in the Youth Room (in the basement next to the nursery) each Sunday morning.

During the winter quarter both the Junior High and the High School classes will be studying the book of Ecclesiastes. As we study the book, we will focus in on one chapter each week. This book is often thought to be negative or is simply overlooked. Our hope is that this thirteen week study gives the students a better understanding of not only Ecclesiastes, but how to study all Wisdom Literature including Job, Psalms, Proverbs and Song of Solomon.

The High School Class is taught by Brian Hough and meets in the basement next to the Nursery

The Junior High Class is taught by Dan Guinn and meets in room 113 located in the hallway furthest from the Sanctuary.
